Israel and Local Programs for Teens

Motiv is the San Diego Teen Service organization.  It connects teens to service learning projects, special events, and even sets up their own on-line "Dashboard" that publicizes a profile of who they are and what they're doing (amazing for scholarship applications).  Check it out!

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP:  Looking for need-based college scholarships?  Check out the Turk Family Scholarship.

THE CONSERVATIVE YESHIVA IN JERUSALEM:  One of the greatest Jewish institutions on earth is the Conservative Yeshiva in the heart of Jerusalem. They have an amazing Winter Break program for teens and college students, outstanding summer programs, and a world-famous "gap year" program for college graduates.  All programs are in English, though they unlock the deep Hebrew texts of our tradition for young people, making it relevant to them, all the while creating incredible community through study and trips.  Their programs can be found at: http://www.conservativeyeshiva.org/

BIRTHRIGHT provides free trips to Israel that are life changing.

JITLI (Jacobs International Teen Leadership Institute) has been the most popular Israel program among teens at our synagogue.  Based in San Diego, it offers an unparalleled opportunity to work with Arabs and Jews to forge a conversation of the future.  http://jitli.org

MASA ISRAEL is an amazing organization that connects teenagers to outstanding programs of various durations in Israel.  http://www.masaisrael.org/
