Heidi Gerwerk - Strategic Vision Consultant

Before we start the long-term rabbi search in earnest, we (the Board) thought it was important to understand our real long-term goals as an organization. Ner Tamid Synagogue is our extended family, our second home, a place we want to see thrive for generations to come. So, what does Ner Tamid of the future look like and how do we choose a rabbi who moves us in that direction?

To help us answer these big questions, we hired a strategic planning expert to facilitate our self-survey, conduct focus groups, and analyze the data. What luck we have this expertise in the San Diego Jewish community!

Heidi Gantwerk will work with us through the next several months, resulting in a draft “Congregational Questionnaire” we need to fill out as part of the rabbi search process
