which meets you where you're at, based on a personal relationship with Rabbi Caine.  Not a "one size fits all" program of requirements, we even have "Making it Official," an abbreviated track for non-Jewish spouses. 

Where learning is relevant, rigorous, and fun

  Often in small groups in congregant's homes, Rabbi Caine fosters discussion of Torah's connection to personal relationships, science, psychology, and comparative religions.  With training in philosophy, religion, Kabbalah, and Jewish thought from Princeton, Harvard, and Stanford Universities, combined with his genuine warmth and love of each congregant, Rabbi Caine brings ideas and texts to match our most serious and provocative questions, even the ones we're not yet asking.  

 Whose Youth are embraced and fulfilled

Our Sunday and Wednesday religious school for K-thru-7th grades prepares each child in Hebrew, prayer, ethics, Jewish history, and a love of Israel.  USY and Kadima Youth groups give space to socialize happily and safely.  Our post-Bar/Bat Mitzvah program includes advanced study with Rabbi Caine that is relevant to the life of teenagers. Plus Hilltop Preschool at Ner Tamid opens this fall!  (Come over and take a tour!)
